How often should you change your pads? {Your Opinion}

Ok, so I would like to ask all of you a question today. During the period days, how often do you change your pads? 

The reason I am asking is from two concerns - hygiene and blood flow. Now, some people suffer from excessive blood flow for which they have to change the pads very frequently. But, what about the hygiene aspect? Well, you are getting so many awesome products in the market which give complete protection lasting up to a day also. BUT, even if your blood flow is not heavy, the dry blood in the pad acts as a stimulant for bacterial growth and there is a certain type of bacteria which causes vaginal infection so you should change the pads once in every 4-6 hours so as to avoid the infection.

    Yes, that's correct. I always keep in mind that have to chnage my pad that often. <3

    i read somewhere u should keep it on only for maximum of 6 hours.. even on last days..

    I change mine as soon as I feel it's wet... quite wasteful but I just can't stand the feeling, especially so that it's always so hot here in Singapore.

    hey Vivi...yup you are right that those days are really difficult when the temperatures are stifling!!! I just simply feel drained out and even changing pads feels like a mountain of work :(

    I change it 24 hourly just because it saves on the amount I use

      yeah but it breeds bacteria!!! health and hygiene is more important than money in such cases :)

    I usually change when I think its wet... but it helps to write down a schedule on when to change yor pad.
