The thing is I don't want to use cotton as it is a little harsh on the skin and feels rough while wiping off the oil. So, gals, do you have any ideas?? Or, may be you can tell me how you wipe off the cleansing milk from your face??? Anything natural would be even more appreciable. I don't want to use a wash cloth because then I will get an extra work of cleaning the wash cloth properly. So, looking forward to your opinions on the same :)
Still trying to figure out answer for ur question.
ReplyDeleteI use either olive oil or cleansing milk. Yup, cleansing milk takes a lot of time to clear
hehe...I am tired of using wipes and they do get expensive in the long run and I was thinking if I could get something more natural!!!
Deletehi swati which sunscreen do you use?? i also have combination skin and i use lakme sunscreen.
ReplyDeletehey..I am currently using Marie Veronique sunscreen...its actually a US brand and is a Zinc Oxide sunscreen. And, after I finish the one I have, I am planning on getting from the same brand only even though its pretty costly coz its damn good :) you can check it here: http://www.mvorganics.com/
DeleteI have never used anything like makeup remover. all i have used is a face wash and tak extra care to remove my eyeliner .. please do tell me do we have to use a seperate cleanser or makeup remover to remove the makeup.
ReplyDeleteactually yes, there are many makeup removers in the market so you can choose one of them or you can simply go for almond oil to remove the sunscreen / makeup. check out the first link in the above post. it talks about double cleansing. after removing the makeup, you can simply use face wash to remove the residue. or, I am putting the link here: http://perfectskincareforyou.blogspot.in/2010/09/double-cleansing-to-get-rid-of-makeup.html

You could use olive oil and rub it off using ordinary tissue........hope dat helps
ReplyDeletehi...welcome to my blog :) I do use oil - baby or almond, never tried olive yet but removing with ordinary tissue? I mean won't it get torn???? will try out tomorrow :) I tried using cotton today but it was a disaster :D
Deletehey.. try revlon makeup remover.. its cheap and does its job good with jus little quantity... it doesnt sting and followed by face wash leaves the skin soft n fresh...
ReplyDeleteu can pick up a normal dry tissue paper.. soak it with ur makeup remover or cleanser.. leave it for a minute or so.. once the product is absorbed multi-fold the tissue and try using this as a wipe... the tissue doesnt tear too this way and cheaper too...
i use clarus wet wipes when i m totally lazy or tired to follow my cleansing routine.. hope this helps..
also.. do himalaya baby wipes sting the eyes?
hey Revathy...thanks a lot for this!!! I shall definitely give this a try. as for the Himalaya wipes, no, they don't sting the eyes. in fact they remove the kohl and eye shadow without any help at all so I really like it :)
